Meet Michael Wray, ENRG's Regional VP of Growth for Texas, whose three decades of experience span every corner of the Lone Star State.

When Michael Wray talks about Texas real estate, he's not speaking from a handbook or a boardroom. He's speaking from lived experience across every major market in the state: Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio over the course of 35+ year career.

From the piney woods of East Texas where he grew up to the rapidly evolving urban centers where he built his career, Michael has witnessed and shaped the transformation of Texas real estate firsthand.

"Texas isn't one market," Michael explains. "Each city has its own personality, its own opportunities, its own challenges. Understanding those nuances is what separates good real estate professionals from great ones."

The Entrepreneurial Foundation

Before Michael focused on Texas real estate, he was an entrepreneur solving problems. His first venture? Founding SuperShuttle's shared-ride airport service in Austin, a business built on recognizing a need and creating a solution that served the community.

That entrepreneurial mindset has carried through every phase of his career. Michael didn't just participate in Texas real estate's evolution. He helped pioneer it. He was among the first to develop townhomes in Houston Heights, recognizing the potential before it became one of the city's most sought-after neighborhoods. He did the same along Austin's South Lamar corridor, anticipating growth patterns before they became obvious.

He and his family split time between Texas, Arkansas, and Montana, where family properties allow them to do what they love most: spend time in nature.

With five children ranging from flag football players to college band members, plus careers launching in Austin, the Wray household is never quiet. And that's exactly how they like it.
