I LOVE Austin! Like many Austinites, I wasn’t born here — but after living in Ohio, California, Maryland, Massachusetts, Canada, Mexico, and Indiana, Austin became home. I moved here in 1996 after earning my Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and spending years working in electronics manufacturing and engineering leadership.
Before real estate, I managed engineering and test teams for complex military, medical and communication electronics products. That background taught me how to analyze problems, build systems, negotiate solutions, and stay calm when things get complicated — skills that translate surprisingly well to real estate!
I got my real estate license in 2015 after realizing that real estate investing is one of the best long-term tools for financial freedom. What started with turning my Indiana townhome into a rental property eventually grew into helping others buy, sell, invest, and build wealth through real estate.
Today, my business focuses on helping Austin-area homeowners and investors make smart, strategic real estate decisions with less stress and fewer surprises. Alongside my business partner, Doedi Meyer, we combine traditional real estate expertise with real-world investing experience including rentals, flips, and private lending.
I’m a bit of a “recovering engineer,” so I naturally love strategy, market analysis, and helping clients figure out the best path forward for THEIR goals — not just the obvious one.
And yes… I still hate moving.
