"Are you the new front desk lady?"
That's what her broker said to Raine Willis. She had been an agent with the brokerage for over a year, actively selling real estate. Her own broker didn't remember who she was.
Raine and her sister Skye are building a business together in Louisiana. Skye became licensed in January. They grew up watching their dad succeed in real estate. They read Robert Kiyosaki. They saw what was possible, and they wanted to build it.
What they needed was a brokerage that would help them get there.
What they got was an office of over 200 agents where nobody knew their names. A broker who didn't respond to their questions or provide support. A team structure their brokerage wouldn't allow. And a fee structure that cost them over $40,000.
They were doing everything right, yet they felt invisible.
Then Tori showed up.
A Closing Table Conversation
Tori Mamalo is an ENRG agent who represented the buyers on one of Skye and Raine's listings. On closing day, the transaction hit a delay. About three hours of waiting. So they did what good agents do when they're stuck together at a closing table. They problem-solved.
And in that time, Skye and Raine noticed something. The way Tori carried herself. The way she handled the delay. The way she worked alongside them with respect and professionalism.
Their interest was piqued. They started asking her about ENRG. Not a pitch. Just a conversation between agents. What it was like to be known. To have a broker who picks up the phone. To be part of something smaller, more personal, more intentional.
Two days later, Skye and Raine moved their licenses to ENRG.
Just Getting Started
I talked with Skye and Raine this morning. This week, they are sitting down with Walter, their broker, to map out their goals together. They feel supported. They feel seen.
They're just getting started.
